  5. I see you in my dreams still after all this time. Sometimes we’re laughing the day away together. Other times we’re sitting in pain together trying to remember what happened so long ago. I sometimes wish those dreams would stop because all they do is hurt me, but then I think about it and I don’t want them to stop. I want to keep having those dreams with you because they’re all I have left. Even the memories of us that hurt me… Truth is I didn’t want to let you walk away so easily that day, but I did because it would have been selfish of me. I remember the last embrace, the last touch from you on my skin, and the last words you said to me. I don’t want to forget and I don’t want to let go of those dreams and memories because one day they will make me stronger. There will be a day where I am thankful for those and we can laugh with each other again and that day just can’t come soon enough. So until then I’ll watch you from a distance again like I did so long ago waiting for you to be mine. I hope that day will come… I really do hope so. You are forever imprinted on my heart and that will never change.
